The provided wobble disks will be used throughout the day while students are seating at their desks. Students will have increased opportunity to have better posture which improves their ability to concentrate on their work. At their desks, students work on writing, specifically choosing brainstormed ideas from thinking maps and organizing them into sentences. Students, also, work on problem-solving during math time. Students may work on investigating social studies and science methods on a weekly basis. In recent teacher professional developments, flexible seating continues to be encouraged and proven to be effective in meeting the needs of students of all ages. I hope to provide a classroom structure that gives the students every advantage to promote problem-solving and learning. The integration of the wobble disks will allow for more focused students which should increase student academic outcomes.
