These materials will provide a quiet area for students to increase their phonological awareness. We will be utilizing the desk to create a listening station for children to hear correct productions of words and phrases containing their speech sounds. To help remediate speech sound errors, children with speech disorders may benefit from auditory bombardment of their speech sounds. To create a quiet listening space, we would like to add a desk set, recording/replay device, and headphones to the classroom. These materials will enable students to utilize auditory bombardment during their speech sessions.
