My vision is to inspire my students to become responsible, empowered, empathetic scholars who consider themselves to be active citizens of their country and world! Most of the students in my class are English language learners, and I have worked very hard to make all curriculum comprehensible to them while still teaching the standards they need to master regardless of English level. We are a school located in an urban, low-income community that after MANY years of not achieving or meeting the No Child Left Behind requirement has begun to perform and received awards and recognition. We are proud of our students and our hard work to get where we now are! THANK YOU for supporting education, making it possible for us to get the supplies we need, and helping to show students that we all believe in them!
