The equipment I am requesting will replace outdated and nonworking equipment. My students have Chromebooks, but currently they have no way to collect data directly to the chromebook for making data tables and graphs for analysis so the Chromebook technology is not being used to the fullest. The LabQuest minis will allow students to use the current sensors we have to collect data such as temperature, pH, pressure, directly to their Chromebooks for data analysis. The sensors allow students to collect accurate data and then using the labquest minis they will be able to visualize on their Chromebooks what the data looks like in the form of charts and graphs. Data analysis is one of the most important parts of the scientific method.
