The book material requested for this project will support diversity and social emotional learning within the classroom. These books will allow text to self, text to world, and text to text experiences. By donating, you will not only help grow young readers but also improve and increase student attention and focus. New books will be used weekly alongside skills, such as main idea, summarizing, predicting, and drawing conclusions. Space Balance Balls and Stability Cushions will aid students who need to move. Flexible seating will also be used for independent reading and small groups.
