The bluetooth speaker will allow the flow of our daily experiences to be enhanced as I will not have to stop to go to the computer to press play and stop all the time. I will have a better access to any of our music immediately, wherever I am in the room, and will be able to play it right away. We will also be able to take this music with us and will not be bound by the fact that it is only on a playlist on the classroom computer. Tubanos are not only a whole lot of fun, but they are culturally rich! They will help the students be able to put into practice all of the elements of music they will have been working on (beat, rhythm, and styles of music) in one activity, while enjoying a brand new activity. Life skills such as building community, cooperation, and having an awareness of self and others are necessary to play well in a drumming ensemble.
