The materials that I have selected will be used to begin building the foundation into coding through hands-on learning. Through the use of the Learning Resources Code and Go, my students will build mazes and use the coding cards to create a step-by-step path for the Programmable Robot Mouse. The use of the coding cards will allow them to learn how to create various paths for the Robot Mouse, as well as begin to build the understanding that there can be multiple ways to code a program. The various sets will allow several groups of students to work in unison.
