These resources will help me teach self-regulation through hands-on materials which will engage students and utilize creative thinking, career awareness through dress up and active play. I will be able to utilize books for bibliotherapy and icebreakers to develop the counseling relationship further students’ understanding of self and how they fit into the world, workbooks to teach growth mindset which leads to perseverance and academic success, and games which involve creative problem solving. These materials will brighten my counseling office and give me ready-to-use materials to help me teach my standards to all students and best meet my students’ needs when further support is indicated.
