My students are excited to learn because of the different labs, activities and technology incorporated into our science class. I have a good mix of students that have their own technology devices at home and also just as many that do not. That's why it's important to expose them to the technology while they are in my room. Providing opportunities to use and collaborate with Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, or complete online lab simulations and presentation resources are a great way to teach curriculum, while providing the opportunity to demonstrate 21st Century Learning Skills. These same skills will be necessary to succeed in the real-world outside of middle school and beyond.
