Our computer lab is completely outdated and we have no funds to update it. Currently, third through fifth grades have Chromebooks for their everyday use, but first and second grade are having to rely on the computer lab. Our district purchased the usage of Clever, which allows for a single log-in to log into as many cites as you need. Another amazing feature of Clever is for the students to only have to show their unique QR code in lieu of having to physically sign in. Our students come from very low economic backgrounds and very seldom have access to computers beyond a smartphone. Our students, especially the first-graders, have an extremely hard time logging into programs such as Zearn, Epic, and other educational sites. With these webcams, students will be able to use their QR codes to expedite their learning and create less hassle and frustration in the computer lab.
