Imagine making it possible for young students from disadvantaged backgrounds to take on leadership roles in the classroom. With the addition of an Elmo document camera and classroom easel, my students will be able to present what they are learning throughout the day. With these tools, my kindergartners will develop leadership skills and confidence to be successful throughout their school career. Students work harder when they have an opportunity to show their work to the class through a document camera. They develop their skills and comfort level with oral presentations through standing at an easel and demonstrating to their classmates how they solved a challenging math problem.
