My project is to create a highly engaging mathematical environment. My goal is to gather the resources needed for my students to come to understand constructions, congruent triangles, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, and coordinate geometry. I need resources to last me the entire year. These resources are essential during the first unit on construction, where they will use graphing paper, pencils, markers, etc to create geometric sketches. This gives them the ability to understand how geometry applies to the world of drafting in AutoCAD at an engineering firm, or for trades on a construction site, or working as a contractor.
