The Flex seating will give my students choice of seating and movement while accomplish their learning goals. I am a resource teacher and teach students with learning disabilities and students with hyper activity that have a hard time staying seated and learning. This choice of seating will give my students freedom to learn in the setting that will optimize their learning experience. There are many benefits that flexible seating provide like; Comfort: Students are more comfortable, allowing them to focus for longer periods of time. This leads to higher academic achievement. Differentiated Seating: Flexible seating is essentially “differentiated” seating. There are many different choices, some options giving children the sensory input that they need. Improved Behavior: Students are less disruptive and are able to burn off energy throughout the day.
