Carefully selected books, such as What was the Alamo? and Texas: The Lone Star State (E-book (unlimited use**) by BRITANNICA DIGITAL LEARNING will be perfect for grades 3-5. These resources will supplement our social studies and geography lessons providing a print-rich, visually appealing, cultural awareness experience for students who most likely have never been more than 10 miles from the small community in which they live. Providing books, along with projected images (with our new projector) of their state and the world, allow students to travel, while enriching lesson plans using multi-sensory opportunities to explore the similarities and acknowledge diversity across the globe.
