As a new teacher in this school, I am wanting to buy some items for my students to help in their learning. These tools will create a better learning environment for my students and allow each student to feel successful and prepared at the beginning of the school year. Such basic supplies as notebooks and pencils are sometimes impossible to acquire from each and every student. Having these on hand means every student is prepared from the first day of school! My students are engaged daily with interactive reading and math notebooks. They are also using whiteboards while learning at the front of the classroom or while working with classmates as a way to engage their brains and extend the learning that they are doing. There are many times throughout the year where students will use all kinds of coloring tools for science, art, and collaborative team work. The supplies you will be helping to provide will contribute to their success with learning throughout the year. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated!
