My students attend a elementary school that is located on a Army Military Base. All of my students have a parent who is currently serving our country and half of my class has a parent who is deployed. Teaching at a military school brings many challenges but one of hardest parts is the high mobility rate of our students. With technology like the Leap Frog Tag Reader, my students will read. This technology will also give the students a sense of independence that they are able to read on their own. More than anything my students want to share that they can read to their deployed parent.
