My aim is to create a classroom environment where students feel safe and supported and are excited to explore new perspectives through literature. We are requesting fresh books and writing tools to keep my students engaged in 7th Grade Language Arts. Through experience I know that all materials in my project will be utilized and purposeful. The books I have on this list directly relate to our 7th grade curriculum or are books that students have requested in the past school year. The composition notebooks, pencils, highlighters, and markers will be used by students to create their Interactive Notebooks which we use all year. These tools ensure that all students are able to be successful every day in class, no excuses! The chart paper allows students to collaborate and share their amazing ideas. Dry erase magnets and chalkboard markers are useful for me to keep students informed clearly (on our old school chalkboard). Thank you for taking the time to consider my project.
