Finding authentic literature is crucial to effective reading and writing instruction. Finding good, interesting, vocabulary-rich and authentic literature in Spanish can be quite challenging. These collections of books will facilitate instruction for reading and writing for students in Spanish. Students will be able to apply critical thinking skills after reading these books through group work, projects and presentations. Place value can be one of the most difficult topics to teach because it is an abstract concept. Math manipulatives and interactive games give students the opportunity to grasp this concept while having fun. These board games will make the connection from abstract to concrete. Place value is an important foundation in math. Mastery in place value and numbers will help students move on to more complex concepts.
