My students will greatly benefit from all of these resources by having fun and also being exposed to different coping skills so that they can be ready to learn! These social-emotional games, tools, and journals will help me break the stigma of receiving mental health services. I want to make mental health fun and interactive because most of the times students are sent to see the counselor when the students did something wrong. I will create a safe space not just for the student but also for their families. My passion is to make mental health as accessible as possible especially in communities where Latinas are the majority. As a Latina myself, it is my duty to help my fellow Latinas.
