These Fire tablets will allow students without technology access to have it in my classroom before, during, and after school. I eventually want to have a mostly-online classroom because I know that is where corporations are heading. Without access, how will they learn the behaviors and skills of the workplaces of tomorrow? With these tablets, students can participate in numerous solo and group tasks: watch video clips related to a lesson, participate in online discussions, take quizzes, research projects, and write and submit assignments. Most importantly, they can feel like they belong to the wider world because they have this access.

About my class
