These wobble stools will be used to help increase student engagement and motivation in the classroom. The students will have the opportunity to earn classroom money which they may choose to "buy" a wobble stool for the day. This will help encourage students to have good behavior. These stools will serve as a positive reinforcement for my lively 4th graders. Additionally, these wobble stools will make a difference in the classroom through the many benefits associated with active seating. These include improved posture, sensory input, energy-burning, and increased blood flow. They will be thrilled to have this alternative seating option!
