These books will be distributed to each of the students in our advisory class. Last year, in trying to captivate the minds and aspirations of our advisory class, it became apparent that space and our earthly habitat was an engaging topic for them. Reading the incredible memoir of Scott Kelly, a retired Navy pilot, astronaut, and former commander of the International Space Station, will hopefully inspire the young men of our advisory. Mr. Kelly's story of determination and willpower during a time that parallels the age of these young men, combined with the engaging topic of the cosmos, is something that I am confident will resonate at a time when the world is at their fingertips.
