While I have desks for each of my students within my classroom, I am interested in exploring flexible seating options so that my students may take their learning wherever they feel comfortable. That is why I am hopeful of getting soft cushions for each student. I also have a "Cozy Corner" where students can read and relax with a great book but no furniture to make the space live up to its name. Getting some furnishings for this area would help encourage students to enjoy relaxing and reading on their own time. In addition, I have selected certain materials to help extend critical thinking skills and mathematical understanding.
