I teach a very active group of first graders. They want to learn and be engaged but sitting still is not how they learn best. I'm excited to offer students the opportunity to move while they work! Being able to move while engaged in their work helps them to stay focused. It is important for students to have movement during the day to increase blood flow to the brain, so they do not feel sluggish or disengaged. These wobble stools will be used daily by all students in my classroom in our independent writing center. Students will have the opportunity to wobble while they write!

About my class
