I teach AM and PM Kindergarten at a Title I school. My students have such a strong desire to learn and I want to provide them with every opportunity possible. I dream of having a classroom where students love learning and have a drive to succeed. It is critical that my young students are exposed to a variety of books and activities that encourage them to develop critical thinking skills to set them up for success. I have selected activities that will help my students become fluent readers and develop mathematical skills to help them be successful as they continue on in their education. I am also trying to build my classroom library so that I can read to my students. It is important for students to be read to in order to improve their own reading skills. I would love to be able to teach my students a variety of skills through the books I have selected.
