Our school statement says we will pair technology with student studies to increase academic achievement, but we currently have no technology other than the state mandated number of tablets/computers per child. With these 3D printers I can collaborate with the Technology and Classroom teachers, and the Math Specialist to give my students integrative, cross curriculum projects to increase their enthusiasm for learning! My school district is actively encouraging arts and math collaboration this school year, and I know this will be an amazing way to build student enthusiasm for this partnership! Like most kids these days, my students are fixated on technology, and I hope to help them use that to their advantage with this project!
