Both students in kindergarten to second grade, along with students reading on the K-2 grade levels will have the opportunity to read about the times we live in. Right now so many educators are wondering about what are the better ways to present global news. Our students have to be knowledgeable but they have to be presented the news in a way that is not too stunning in a negative way. My solution is to allow Times for Kids Magazine assist me. My belief is that reading this magazine will inspire the desire in our students to read other periodicals and books and to keep up with the news.
