How do you teach new arrivals who speak Ukranian, Kinyarwanda, French, Haitian Creole, Spanish (and a few other languages), English without visuals and modeling? You don't. Distance learning for my English Language Learners was extremely challenging without the critical strategy of utilizing visuals. The large mobile white board will allow me to model lessons, color code important vocabulary, draw illustrations, show the spelling of words, and so much more. All things that are necessary to teach the understanding of basic concepts and skills required to gain the acquisition of the English language.
