The use of Chromebooks is a fun tool that we frequently use in the music classroom. My students love to create music using different technologies and online programs. Since our school is one to one, each student gets the opportunity to express their musical minds but without headphones it often gets very loud. Having headphones will increase students' ability to focus and will ultimately help to enhance their academic achievement in the music classroom. During our composition unit students pick whichever style of music they want for their song. My students show an astonishing ability to think outside the box and show off their creativity and imaginations. Headphones will help enrich the students experiences during this unit.
