These materials will provide my students with goal oriented manipulatives that will help them develop problem solving and creative thinking skills. They will be used during whole group instruction to be introduced and then made available for use during small group work and center time. During center time students will have time to play, explore, and learn using these kits. “Play is the work of the child” -Maria Montessori. These kits provide guided lessons that will help me reach individual skills needed by these young students. They are creative by nature and having these kits available will expand their possibilities of learning and problem solving.
