My students need books to expose their minds to different cultures and history. We need to teach our young minds about what makes this world so great. I want to use these books to show my Social Studies and Writing Class different forms of Literature. I want my students to understand and appreciate everyone no matter how or where they came from. I want my students to learn to appreciate history and writing through stories. Everyday, I read to my students and we read together. We read, talk, share, and learn together daily. These books will assist me with ensuring that my students have hands on books in our classroom. I will read these books to my students, they will partner read daily, and the students will have these books on hand for our classroom library. These books will help my students learn history, culture, reading and how to write different forms of literature.
