My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interests of my students. Students in my classroom like to read about Pete the Cat. My school library center does not have a large collection of Pete the Cat books, so I would like to have books that will hold their interests and keep them reading. They can store their books in the Teaching Tree Over the Chair Storage Covers to look at when they finish an assignment early. Students gain confidence in reading when they read a Pete the Cat book. Helping students begin to learn that reading is fun is perfect way to build better readers.
