Current research has proven that flexible seating arrangements has a positive effect on student performance by improving student engagement and focus. My student population is comprised of various levels and abilities and often our struggling students lose focus. The requested items will change the learning environment and allow our students to work in a comfortable relaxing atmosphere. Creating a flexible seating arrangement will provide a classroom that will promote collaboration and productivity is the ultimate goal. Flexible seating provides various seating options that give the student the power to choose how they will learn. Empowering the student to take responsibility for their own learning.

About my class
