With a renewed writing focus in our school, we have launched an exciting journey of creating writers from an early age! My young students are eager to practice being writers each day and are already exceeding my expectations in enthusiasm and abilities. These new tools will create unique ways to build passion and momentum in the education of young writers. The Paper Mate Flair pens are a highly sought after traditional writing utensil. They help students to gauge pressure, see their words in great contrast with the paper and allow them to watch their letters and words glide smoothly onto the page. The Logitch Crayons will allow my students to utilize their iPads in a new way, using appropriately learned skills such as correct pencil grip, etc, while still using this great new technology for writing. My students' excitement about becoming writers will only increase with the use of these new devices. They will strive to write new words to be able to show off how well they can use their iPads and Crayons. They will be inspired to add words to their works on paper using the Flair pens. I can't wait to see how their enthusiasm will grow with these new materials!
