I am trying to incorporate some more seating space and options in my classroom for students who like to work on the floor. Students like adults, like to accomplish tasks in a variety of locations! My classroom is also small, and this seating option can easily be picked up and moved to other spaces in my room. It will also fit the age range of students that come through my class in a day. I have heard presentations and discussed with other teaching professionals how this has benefited their classrooms. I am geared up for the new school year and look forward to using these seating options with my students!
