This year students will create as many hands on projects as possible, including designing their own civilization. They will design their maps, through drawings, coloring and 3-D versions. They will also develop the educations, jobs, social statuses, laws, governments, battle history and historical figures for their civilization. They will also design and engineer three inventions, that will hopefully work. Finally, they will create an archeological dig for their civilization. We will do several digs this year so they will throughly understand the steps of an archeological dig. They will use all of these materials to create their 3-D map, archeological dig artifacts and 3-D cultural inventions.
