According to Mitch Resnick the director of Lifelong Kindergarten group at MIT Media Lab, who has dedicated his time to helping kids of all ages tinker and experiment with design, we should be teaching our students to code not only so they have the skills to operate new technology but also so they can create it. By donating to our cause you will help 22+ low income bilingual students to have the same opportunities as other students in a higher economic schools to have exposure of coding technology. My students will be able to see their coding in real world experiences. Technology is here to stay and as robotics and computers are becoming apart of our daily lives, and we as educators have to make sure our students have the tools they need to not only survive in this technological world, but also enhance the world they will live in.
