Our School Counseling Program needs an iPad for students to use in their individual and group counseling sessions. Apps like Breathing Bubbles and Mind Yeti teach students coping skills that can be used in many different situations. These apps also help calm agitated students, and provide them with a momentary escape from the real world. This break allows them a chance to reset their brains and rejoin their classroom as soon as safely possible. There is a social story app that generates stories that target specific student needs. My school is in a rural area, and we don't have the money available to budget an iPad for this program. We need your help! This iPad will be exclusively used by students who recieve services from the School Counselor.
