All the Light We Cannot See helps young readers experience a “stunning sense of physical detail and gorgeous metaphors” (San Francisco Chronicle). Ten years in the writing, a National Book Award finalist, All the Light We Cannot See is a magnificent, deeply moving novel from a writer “whose sentences never fail to thrill.” (Los Angeles Times). This title will grab them by their collars and yank them into the story. Because my students are reluctant readers, they need contemporary selections of which they can relate. Once they find titles that prove to them they like reading, they will read. This book will do it.
