This opportunity for choice of seating will allow my middle school science students to get away from traditional lab tables and hard, plastic chairs in order to collaborate with their lab partners. It is difficult to have complete flexible seating for my curriculum because I do need them to have sink access, gas jets, and large places to put our equipment for the awesome science experiments. Their imagination will be opened by providing them with a small choice to be more comfortable. Science phenomenon will be explored, and I truly hope that a future world problem solver will utilize these chairs!
