Students will be able to manipulate, build and create using various manipulative types to further their knowledge in the field of engineering. Students will develop problem solving and critical thinking skills as they manipulate the pieces into personal creations. Students will work in small groups and individually to create engineering pieces and learn the fundamentals behind construction building. The manipulative are differentiated to meets the various needs and a variety of interests of the students in the classroom. This allows all students the opportunity to develop and explore. Through these building sets, students will discover how to build, create, explore, and challenge themselves in the field of engineering exploration.
