A diverse library helps to bring out the reader in everyone. This collection of books and supplies will help to promote an engaging learning environment. The various levels of books will be used for guided reading to grow readers from one level to the next, but also promote independent reading by allowing children to self-select what they want to read. The supplies will allow my students to be able to have the basic resources necessary for a successful classroom. They will be used for various reading and writing activities that will engage my second graders without having a concern of what they may not be able to bring to school.
