The items on my list are essentials I usually purchase throughout the year for my students. I am creating a essentials corner in the back of my room for my young ladies. I will have the drawer organizers filled with alcohol wipes, band-aids, lotion, and sanitary pads, so they can go and get what they are in need of without interrupting the class. The hand sanitizer, mirror, and tissue will also be located in this corner. They have emergencies all the time, and I teach over 130 students per year, so it really becomes expensive to keep my room stocked with these items. Many of my students come from families with multiple siblings, so they come with a spiral and a pencil, and sometimes that's it for the year. I don't like pressuring my students about things they don't have, because if they had it, they would bring it, so asking only makes them feel bad.
