The world of education has been flipped upside down. These times are truly unprecedented. Virtual education has provided plenty of obstacles, along with opportunity. The students at Milwaukee High School of the Arts are facing these obstacles and opportunities head on. The students of AP Human Geography are no different. They are plunging themselves into the content through webquests, research projects, and those awful practice assessments. With all the great work they are doing and are capable of, they face yet another obstacle...outdated textbooks. These new AP Human Geography textbooks will provide an avenue for my students at MHSA to unplug from the virtual world, while continuing to develop their academic skillsets! The thirteenth edition of Rubenstein is redesigned to match the new course examine description and with updated data, graphs, and charts. I never thought I'd hear my students ask me for a hard copy textbook, but like I mentioned before these times are unprecedented!!
