The supplies requested would supplement my social emotional learning lessons and help students with increasing their exposure to mindfulness activities and art therapy. For those unfamiliar with art therapy, it is a distinct discipline that incorporates creative methods of expression through visual art media. In addition, it encourages free self-expression through painting, drawing, or modeling. Scholars who have sadly been exposed to any trauma will also start to learn foundations of art therapy. The amount of supplies requested would also ensure all students have access to supplies and will not have to be interrupted while working on their individual projects.
