These materials will help my classroom tremendously. This year my class will be a Kindergarten class where it was a 1st grade class. As I am a first year teacher in this room , I have noticed that my classroom does not have a library . Reading is fundamental and I would love for my students to be exposed to print concepts by books that are developmentally appropriate. The books I selected for my library are picture books that children will gain a vivid understanding of what the story conveys. Exposure to books will help my students understand the importance of reading, how to properly read a book and how to recognize common sight words that are in books.

About my class
