Flexible seating will allow students to make choices in the classroom, which is so important to kindergartners. The ball and donut seats will be available during independent times as well as during small group instruction time. The chair bands will allow students a movement option when sitting in a typical chair is their choice. Making students comfortable in the classroom is essential to their success. I am excited to see the positive impact on my students that these seating options can bring. After students adjust to the new seating, I look forward to bringing more flexible seating options to the classroom in the near future.

About my class
