These books will meet the diverse interests and backgrounds of my students. It is so important that children are being exposed to books that not only engage them and make them excited about reading, but also that reflect who they are and where they come from. Most of students don't have books at home and are not taken to the library or store to find books they want. Whenever I bring in new books my students sign up to read them and anxiously wait until its their turn. These additional books will allow more students to read books they enjoy and further their love of reading.
