Students with special needs often need frequent breaks from sitting so they can move around. With flexible seating, I hope that my students can move around and feel comfortable while focusing and learning in my classroom. Many of my students are unable to sit on the carpet because they are unaware of other's personal space, flexible seating can help my students sit during carpet time in one particular spot, this will cut back on time stopping to talk to students about how close they are to their classmates. I hope to encourage my students to learn while allowing them to express themselves with movement.
