These materials will be used in our learning centers to enable students to develop their imaginations. Kindergarten students need creative play in order to learn problem solving skills. Students role play and act out social situations such as cooperation and sharing, learning conflict resolution. They also create characters and utilize story elements in play, enhancing reading skills. Students learn to sort and quantify by putting items together and taking them apart, all very important math skills. All under the disguise of play! These materials will be used daily and enable the students to develop an exciting love of true learning!
